I do not agree in many points.
Therefore I will list my rights.

1.- MOOC is a commercial acronym by Coursera advertised by New York Times
2.- For credit and degree online has been around for 20 years by second tier schools,
3.- Nobody appreciated online since presented by second tiers for Money

4.- Now new trend is online by elite, top, reputable, famous, first class universities

therefore they are worthwhile
therefore they deserve degrees too
therefore they should charge a small fee for sustainability.

5.- New online ( I do not call it MOOC ) had started in 2001 by MIT as OCW .
Now that continues.
6..- It is time now to provide degrees for elite universities online courses too .
Only edx , non profit, set up by top universities deserve the applouds.

Never forget
ONE HAS TO HAVE A VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE TO DİSSEMİNATE
If you do not have valuable knowledge please do not spend Money for online . It is waste of Money and time .
